If you have followed along for any length of time, you know that I created “WEAR THE PERFUME!” to encourage women to live life now! Don’t wait to do the things you want to do. One of my passions in life is business. Let’s dive in to how we can “WEAR THE PERFUME!” in business.
Have you ever thought about starting your own business? Why haven’t you? Seriously ask yourself why not? If those thoughts of starting your own business keep coming to your mind, in my experience, I believe you are meant to act upon them. I know the questions you ask yourself about starting a business, such as why would I be the one to start that business? Am I qualified? Is it a crazy idea? The questions go on and on. You cannot let fear take residence in your mind and prevent you from moving forward.
Have you ever considered that you have a product or service to meet people’s needs and people are waiting for someone to start a business to fill their need? I have started 3 businesses. The first one I really felt there was a need in our local marketplace. I started it with one of my best friends who also had experience in the products and services we offered. We create a successful retail store. The second business was (and still is) with my husband. We felt there was a need unmet in the high end custom residential construction business. My husband had many years in the construction business. He knew the technical skills required, but he also had the mindset and knowledge of providing a high-level experience for the client. My business skills complemented his construction skills. My current business around my brand “Wear The Perfume!” is also filling a need to encourage, educate and provide opportunity for women to learn to live life now! Please remember…people need what you have to offer.
Be honest with yourself…why haven’t you started the business of which you dream?
Take small steps. Ask questions. Find a mentor. Ask more questions. Believe in yourself.
Remember to “WEAR THE PERFUME!” in your life. Start that business! Life is too short – live life now!
