Recently I tackled something hard to do for me. I designed my own website. For some people, a website design is simple and no big deal. For me, it required me stepping out of my comfort zone and having patience! Now let me be honest, I bought a series of templates and then designed to my own needs. However, the design work still required a lot of thought, research and asking questions. I was proud of myself when I was finished. It was hard and I didn’t give up!
What is the hard thing that you need or want to do and haven’t? Why haven’t you started? I am just guessing based upon my own experience you haven’t started due to maybe fear, disbelief you can do it or you are afraid of failing? I can also tell you based upon my experience that we have to do things afraid…we just do. I also know that many times our disbelief in our abilities are just really limiting beliefs we put on ourselves. We had the ability all along…we just didn’t reach down gain the courage and strength to try it. And lastly, I know that we may fail. However, failure can teach us so many lessons. Failure is not bad if we take the lessons learned and apply them to our future.
In my e-book “WEAR THE PERFUME!”, I discuss taking just one step. Maybe that is what you need to do…take that one step toward doing the hard thing you have been wanting to do. I believe you can do it. I also believe that you will gain belief in yourself once you get moving…even if it is just that one step.
Go and do hard things! Someone else needs to see your taking action, so they in turn will take that one step as well!
