I know that title sounds cliché.
I had plans to write about my last trip to Nashville, TN. I wanted to give you some ideas of great places to go and food to eat. However, this morning I knew I had to change my topic. You see…someone I know lost their young, smart and beautiful daughter yesterday in an accident.
I don’t claim to understand why. We may never know this side of heaven. It is frustrating, confusing and just hard to comprehend.
All I want to say today is please go live your life to the fullest. I know some days are more exciting than others. Some days are more work than play. However, I believe our attitude towards the day leads to living life to the fullest. We can be negative, not recognize our blessings or complain. OR we can choose to be positive, look for the good in people and situations, and be grateful for being alive and having the opportunity to make a difference. Some days “fullest” may be bigger than other days. If you are sick one day, the best you might be able to do is have hope in your heart that brighter days are to come. On another day, you might live life to the fullest doing something very BIG or IMPACTFUL for others or your family. Or just maybe it is somewhere in between.
Hug your loved ones today. Make a difference in someone’s life. For that matter, make a difference in your own by living life to the fullest on a daily basis. I will do my best to remind myself daily.
In honor of a young lady I only had the pleasure of meeting one time…may you rest in peace.
Thank you for stopping by.
